Miquela has been a dance educator for almost a decade.
Along with Directing KDC she travels around the country
to judge dance competitions!
Her choreography has won many special awards, nominations, and top scoring routine of the entire weekend at multiple regional and national competitions. Miquela’s dancers were chosen to be the cover photo of “Breakout” National Dance Competition’s program for the 2023 season!
She has many years of training in Ballet, Pointe, Jazz, Tap, Lyrical, Contemporary, Modern, Musical Theatre, Hip-Hop, and cultural styles such as Flamenco, Hula, and Capoeira. Throughout her dancing career she was a successful competitive dancer and has studied with professional dance organizations such as NYCDA and Broadway Dance Center.
In 2015 she graduated from the OCVTS Performing Arts Academy where she studied kinesiology and dance history as a dance major while minoring in vocal music and acting.
From there she went on to receive an A.A in Dance at Ocean County College and was the schools dance club president. She also attended John Casablancas Modeling & Career Center where she studied On Camera Method Acting and Runway courses.
She has always believed that if you can dream it, you can do it! She often participates in classes and workshops to further expand her knowledge in teaching and performing in New York City and Philadelphia! She hopes to continue sharing her love, expertise, knowledge and passion for dance with her dancers!
Jaimee is a graduate of Rutgers University where she earned her bachelor’s degree in dance from the Mason Gross School of the Arts.
While studying at Rutgers, Jaimee had the honor to train with some of the dance industry’s top educators.
Growing up dancing competitively, she has trained in the styles of jazz, ballet, tap, lyrical, contemporary, modern, and African dance. Before attending Rutgers Jaimee earned her associates degree in dance from Ocean County College. While she was at OCC she was a part of the dance club where she was treasurer. She had the honor of being selected to dance at Jazz Fest in 2020.
Jaimee always incorporates fun into technical training as she loves seeing her students grow and find their passion for dance just like she has.
Growing up in Toms River Mallory has been dancing since the age of 2 learning styles such as tap, ballet, jazz, contemporary, modern, musical theatre, and several world dance styles. She attended Ocean County College and achieved her A.A. in dance performance, and is currently enrolled in Stockton University working towards her B.A. in dance with a concentration in studio operations. Through her studies she has garnered knowledge in the dance world by taking classes in dance history, kinesiology, pedagogy and wellness, dance composition, improvisation, theatre, music, and more.
She has had to opportunity to work with teachers and choreographers such as Katie Vickers and Albert Quesada, Alisa Iacovelli, Catherine Mancuso, Selena Pettaway, Caitlin Quinn Pittenger, Rain Ross, Beau Hancock, Chandra Mosse-Thorne, Kat Richter, and many more. During her collegiate years she has had several of her works presented on stage through the Ocean County College Dance Club, as well as the Stockton University Dance Company. And has had many experiences choreographing for musicals at both OCC Repertory Theatre Company and the Toms River Eastside Theatre Company.
On top of all of this Mallory still finds fulfillment in performing on stage whenever the chance arises. Mallory travels across the east coast working as Emcee for dance competitions, as well as participates in the dance industry’s business aspect by contributing her expertise at Encore Dancewear in Toms River, NJ. She is beyond excited to begin her teaching journey at KDC this season and share her love for dance with her students!
Aly has always had a special place in her heart for dance. Since the age of 3, she has been putting in the work to become the passionate dancer that she is today and is ready to share that passion with aspiring dancers. She has been trained in Musical Theater, Jazz, Contemporary, Tap, Hip-Hop, Modern, Ballet, Pointe, Acrobatics, and a variety of cultural styles, including African, Mexican Folk, Flamenco, Classical Indian, and Capoeira. Aly has trained under Miquela White's instruction for many years and is an award-winning competition dancer who continues to enrich her dance education.
In addition to conventions and studio classes, Aly attended the Grunin Performing Arts Academy for her four years of high school to expand her knowledge of dance and other performing arts. While there, she performed in many Nutcrackers, showcases, was a member of Performance Troupe and the role of Angie Dickinson in the musical “The Prom”. Attending GPAA brought Aly many great opportunities, including being enrolled in a dual credit program which allowed her to obtain her Associate of Arts in Dance Performing Arts. Aly will be enhancing her dance career by moving to Manhattan to attend The American Musical and Dramatic Academy (AMDA), as a Dance Theater major.
Jill has professional training in the dance industry across New Jersey and New York, earning opportunities to perform in music videos and various dance projects over the years. With a background in competitive dancing, she has achieved numerous top scores in competitions, along with scholarships and standout awards at several conventions. Jill's extensive dance training spans across Ballet, Pointe, Jazz, Tap, Contemporary, Acrobatics, and Hip Hop, reflecting her dedication to the art form. Committed to ongoing learning, she remains dedicated to both honing her skills and inspiring the next generation of dancers.
Sierra has never known a life without dance. Starting at the age of 3, she stepped into her first class and found her forever passion. For 15 years she danced in studio, 8 of which were spent competing and attending conventions and master classes. She trained in styles such as ballet, tap, jazz, lyrical, contemporary, hip hop, musical theater, modern, and more. 4 years were spent working with 2–5 year old dancers as they started their own dance journey. Upon completion of her studio days, she went to Ocean County College in which she was a member and President of Dance Club. As she has completed her bachelor's degree, she has continued to take dance classes at local studios and choreograph solos. She is excited to embark on her adventure as part of the KDC fam and continue to grow as a dancer while inspiring and shaping the next generation!
